Scam Alert

PegasusTSI Inc. has received reports of individuals impersonating themselves as Recruiters within our organization who are attempting to offer false employment with PegasusTSI and extorting money from individuals. These scammers represent themselves as working for PegasusTSI with an email address that includes @pegasustsi-careers.com and an email signature with the PegasusTSI name, etc.   These individuals have provided unsuspecting targets of this scam with false offer letters, onboarding paperwork and have issued requests for personal banking information, supposedly to aid with their onboarding.  They have asked targets to sign fake documents such as offer letters and other paperwork that appear to be from PegasusTSI.

Here are a few tips to identify and avoid imposters:  

• An authorized PegasusTSI team member will have an email address ending in @pegasustsi.com.  An email from any similar, but non-identical domain, is an imposter attempting to defraud you.  
• Offers of employment will only be issued following a series of communications with individuals using a PegasusTSI email address and after conducting interviews either in person, or virtually via Google Meet with actual members of the PegasusTSI team.
• If you have any doubt about the authenticity of someone claiming to be with PegasusTSI, we recommend that you immediately contact our HR team at humanresources@pegasustsi.com to confirm the identity and authority of the person with whom you have been communicating. This is especially true if the person is offering you a position without conducting an interview or without even speaking to someone from PegasusTSI.

If you believe you have been the subject of this attempted fraud, please contact us at humanresources@pegasustsi.com to notify us about your experience.  The information you provide may be shared with law enforcement to aid in the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for this scam.  If you believe you may have already provided personal, financial, proprietary or other confidential information to a scammer, please also consider contacting your local law enforcement for assistance.
